The answer if you don’t want paper taste in your chemex This is the answer if you don’t want paper taste in your chemex. I was displeased that I’d buy fine coffee beans and they all end up tasting like paper. This was suggested to me and I got it despite the seemingly high price, but when you think about it, you can use this forever and you’d have to keep replacing paper filters so it pays off. The steel is fine, made in USA and doesn’t give you bad flavors like cheap Chinese made filters do.

A finer grind is the secret to make this work This product looks good and was nicely packaged, although I do find it quite expensive.

A great compliment to a chemex or hario This is a solid product from Able Brewing, it works well with my 6-cup Chemex and KitchenAid Pro Line Burr Grinder.
