The Gaggia makes good coffee from my grinder I’ve owned several espresso machines including a La Pavoni and three Saeco machines. The Gaggia makes good coffee from my grinder, from ESE pods or from packaged espresso grind. The steamer is perfect for my wife’s capuccini and my espresso is rich, full bodied and flavorful. I’d give it five stars if the water tank was large enough to support the rinse mode of the machine. It isn’t. When rinse mode is turned on a lot of water is run through the portafilter. Great buy! This machine has been just what I wanted and a great value. It does a great job with the espresso shots as well as frothing. The portafilter has the great option of removing the pressure valve and using it as a manual filter in a commercial style, which I have not done yet as I am getting really nice espresso. The frothing can be done with the Panarello type steamer or with it removed for, again, a more commercial style. The boiler works quickly and well, as does the pump. The two additional…
