Great foam – used daily for a year – a few usage cautions and tips I’ve had this frother for about a year and I use it every day – twice, usually – so it’s had over 500 uses. Here is what I’ve learned during that time:1) I use 1/3 cup of 2% milk for a generous amount of foam. This is less than the maximum capacity, but quite adequate for a mug of cappuccino. Don’t buy The SB Verismo worked well for about 1 month. Then I noticed the froth was not peaking like it did originally. Over the last couple of weeks the froth has become quite runny and is quickly absorbed into my coffee instead of remaining on top. Very disappointing at this price. Is there no guarantee longer than one month? My friend who suggested this purchase is having the same problem with hers. I would say, “Don’t buy”.
Great when it works right, but second one that is not working properly I love this frother…when it works properly. This is my second one. I bought the first one from Starbucks directly and the magnet that makes it swirl separated from the unit. Since I had owned it over fours months and did not have my receipt, Starbucks would not return. I purchased my second one from Amazon and was so happy to have my frother back as it makes perfect froth.
