While this might be the most beautiful french press I have ever owned While this might be the most beautiful french press I have ever owned, it had an extremely short life. It is so heavy and impractical for making morning coffee. It cracked when the skinny little handle slipped from my hand while washing and the stupidly heavy press fell hard into the sink. I am so upset that I spent close to $70 on a coffee press that barely brewed 5 pots. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a nice metal press or a less expensive glass version. Very Nice Very happy with this French press. I purchased the white, the interior is beige. I bought to use on the weekends. We use the keureg during the week but I wanted some variety with coffee. I only have a few personal recommendations from actual use and no gripes yet…- pour water to base of spout, haven’t had any grounds in drink- it’s an experiment to get the results of your preference. I steep my coffee for 15 minutes.- very easy to clean. I hand wash and air dry
