Great for get togethers or alone! My youngest daughter has developed the taste for cold brew coffee as well as tea. This is actually beautiful. Even if you don’t drink coffee This is actually beautiful. Even if you don’t drink coffee.But I do. A lot of it. And it’s far too hot here to drink 4-5 cups of hot coffee per day. This let’s you prepare coffee in the fridge starting the night before and yields a large pitcher full of delicious cold brew coffee the next day. The coffee came out very smooth and had a pretty low acidity allowing the fruitless of the ethiopian coffee to really come out.
Good ice coffee I was hesitant about this coffee maker at first because I wasn’t sure how well the cold-brew would come out. We were used to the french press and are used to squishing the coffee grounds down. This set up works very well for cold-brew, it comes out great and I don’t feel the flavor of the coffee has been compromised by not being able to squish the grounds. What I like about it is that it is a super simple set up, but I do recommend a bottle brush for cleaning
