what you see is what you get I bought this to use when travelling. I will use it, but it is not really satisfactory for my needs. On the plus side, it makes a good espresso, and it is certainly small enough to be portable.. On the negative side, your only option is to make two demitasse cups of espresso. You can’t just put one cup under it and get two shots in a cup. Well, one could, but not in a practical way. You could set the brewer on top of someting, but if travelling, you won’t always have something at hand…. So…
Get a larger velox coffee maker We have been using these velox coffee makers for over 20 years in different sizes and they are the best espresso coffee makers there are. Nobody carries the larger sizes no more and ours are getting old and we would like to get new ones. We have 5 of them. 2, 4, 6 ,8. We would not make espresso at home any other way.
good portable moka maker as travel companion This product makes a single ~ 3 Oz. Moka espresso. Quality of the moka coffee it produced is comparable to my stovetop Bialetti unit.
