So Sad, So Bad I was looking for a coffeemaker, 12 cup, with a thermal carafe. I also wanted a removable water tank and grounds basket. I also looked forward to having a clock on my coffeemaker that I could actually see. This one seemed to have all that.
8 cups in the carafe, 4 cups on the floor I did a lot of research regarding a good, high quality 12 cup thermal carafe drip maker. This model seemed to look like it had everything I was looking for so I gave it a shot. The first couple of pots were made without incident and the coffee was good. Then…not so much.
Dissatisfied Same problem as other review only we called Kitchenaid and they replaced the carafe saying it was a faulty lid. Using the new carafe it made great coffee, the stainless carafe kept the coffee hot hours after brewing, but after just a few pots the coffee flowed all over the counter when in the middle of the brewing process the same as the first carafe. Obviously the new carafe did not fix the problem. Tried all the same things as former comment such as less water and without coffee to see if…
