Loads of fun. Realy good coffee. Weak link. Really enjoyed this machine. If you simply want coffee, there are thousands of faster, cheaper, easier to clean options out there. If, however, you want a cool science experiment that everyone wants to see in action that also produces a really great cup of coffee, then this is tough to beat.
Looks great, horrible instructions. Kind of needs 4 stars for appearance, 1 star for functionality. If you want this to display on a bookcase, buy it! If you want to actually USE it to make coffee, be aware that the very sketchy instructions were written by someone who couldn’t even claim English as a fourth or fifth language. The stilted syntax and misspellings are bad enough but I could handle them. The real problem is that the instructions refer to parts of the unit that do NOT match anything on the (fairly good otherwise)…
This is an amazing machine. As for coffee This is an amazing machine. As for coffee, it makes good coffee. Eye candy to watch it work. And it isn’t any harder to clean after use than any other coffee maker. My sister and I recently bought this coffee siphon and just love it.
