*** LOOKS PRETTY I have owned coffee makers costing $18 to $150, This Cuisinart-1200 looks great, coffee couldn’t be better, and the permanent filter is working out . for grounds don”t overflow and make a mess at the beginning of the day. First thing I noticed is the Carafe lid is not retractable. You have to use both hands and finger nails to open carafe lid. Bummer! That is very awkward to the point of me dropping the carafe and breaking the handle..

A great coffeemaker. Although a factory rebuilt it looks like new and is a perfect replacement for the same model bought twelve years ago. We liked the orginal and this one should provide equally good service.

Like Brand New I bought it to replace the same model which lasted about 15 years. It’s a refurb but you wouldn’t know it’s not brand new. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it’s perfect. If it lasts as long as the original, I’ll be very happy.
