WORKS WELL & EASY TO INSTALL This alternate brand for my GE Profile fridge actually works well! The water taste great too. It turned into the filter adapter just like the GE would of. I looked at the threads on it too before I screwed it into place, because another off brand that I bought on Amazon did not work at all and the threads were totally different. I ran about 2 gallons through the water cup dispenser before it ran clear and all the charcoal residue was gone. This is a great deal to compared to the GE filter…
Didn’t work for me, but good customer service This filter didn’t work in my GE side-by-side refrigerator (GE PSHS6TGXCDSS). I followed the instructions, but when installed, I could hear the pump in my dispenser working really hard. The stream from the water dispenser was also very light, maybe 25 percent or less than I got with the factory MSWF filter. I figured maybe as the filter completely filled with water, this noise would go away and the flow would increase, but even after running a gallon of water through it didn’t resolve…
Great price however does not filter that great Great price however does not filter that great. We live AZ and the water is very hard here. So for here it does not work well. My family noticed a difference right away when this filter was installed and they did not like it. I actually had to go and buy a authentic filter. Lesson learned don’t go cheap and generic on your water filter.
