Great for small groups I bought this cup for a group hike along the Lost Coast Trail in CA. It served to boil water for 4 members of the crew for four days, twice a day for coffee and freeze dried meals. It performed flawlessly. The cup was large enough to hold a 230g isobutane fuel can and the burner from my JetBoil. The larger cup was perfect for efficiently heating the larger quantities of water without constantly refilling the cup. I didn’t use (and don’t intend to use) the ‘Java’ items. This model was only…

Excellent with Luna burner! Install it correctly and it’ll work great! This is AWESOME!! I purchased the Luna burner for my Spire LX and got this to go with it. The french press works great, make sure you install it in the correct way. You can screw the filter in both ways for some reason, but to work properly the edge must point downwards so it collects the grinds when pressing. Make sure you use coarse grinds, I have my own grinder than makes coarse grinds from whole beans. Fine grinds will go through the filter and not taste good at all!

Not sure the cafe press is worth the extra weight in your backpack! I am a big fan of jet boil but the cafe press is a bit of a disappointment. The coffee grounds come up on the sides and I am not sure the contraption is worth the extra weight in a backpack.
