The other unfavorable reviews where right. I bought a refurbished one of these, that was probably my first mistake… I agree with some of the other unsatisfied reviews: after about 14 uses, the part of the lid that attaches to the spring mechanism broke, and now it won’t close all the way. Huge disappointment.
Great coffee, front panel very convenient but awkward filling water reservoir. Makes great coffee. Front panel is very easy to use. Clock is easy to see however the light is like a bright nightlight. The bright light doesn’t bother me but it might bother some people.
Find a different one. Had for less than 4 months and the plastic hinges on the top broke. With all the good coffee makers out there I’d say avoid this one.
