Makes HOT, distinctive and delicious coffee! I had my first Cuisinart version of this DDC-3200 and it lasted 16 years. I bought this one to replace the 16 years old one. In fact, the 16 years old one still works but it just became very run-down looking from using it for so many years. I took it to my church for them to serve coffee as nobody cares about it looking run down there. Good attractive and solid coffee maker for your kitchen Great and pretty coffee maker. Love the programming function that lets me sleep in and have coffee in the morning. Its taller than I expected. While it fits on my kitchen counter underneath the over head cabinets, I need to pull the unit away from the cabinets to refill the water and load the coffee grounds. While paper filters are not needed, you may want to use them to ensure that particulates coffee grounds don’t make it into your brew.
Cuisinart has a hit on their hands I’m only a week in with this but so far I love everything about it. The buttons and controls are well done. Has all the features I can imagine you’d want. The ready beep on/off is really smart, love the hot plate temp control and hot plate timer to keep it hot for a set time.The coffee comes out at the right temperature too. I haven’t measured it but it seems just right under the boiling point. The reusable filter is best too, I hate how paper filters seem to rob coffee of its…
