Poor customer service when unit starts messing up First pot was awesome. Arrived on time and looks very nice on the counter. Got it registered and discovered it has a three-year warranty. Very pleased with the purchase. We have lost 2 Mr. Coffee high-end machines that last two years.*update* After having unit 3 months the clean light came in and after trying to clean it per directions over 4x unit brews extremely slow, doesn’t brew all of water and clean light continues to come on. Return window had expired with Amazon so I had to speak to…
update: recommend the dcc-3200 instead; they know what they’re doing with the three-year warranty Bought it May 2013. Just died November 2016 — doesn’t push water up into the coffee basket, even after multiple attempts to decalcify/clean.Prior to this, it’s been a champ. Used it almost everyday. Delivery received on Sept 14, 2017. Regular daily … Delivery received on Sept 14, 2017. Regular daily use, and today Feb 25, 2018, it has destroyed itself. My hubby took off the bottom plate under coffee maker after receiving a E rl error message and water on the counter, only to find the hoses for the water have crumbled apart. There are scorch marks as well on the underside. Insanely upset about this. If I spend this kind of money on your product, I expect more than 6 months use, and no crazy fire hazard.
