Lasted only 4 months. (Updated review 5/4/17) It worked well while it lasted. I used it on average, once or twice daily. Unfortunately, this kettle only lasted 4 months. After 3 months, I started to notice rusting around the rim of the pot. I cleaned the rust off and used it another month when it started to leak from what appeared to be coming from the opening where the on/off switch is. I’ve had three of these. Only one doesn’t leak … I’ve had three of these. Only one doesn’t leak from the bottom of the spout before you pour it. I’ve tried other brands too, and they leak as well. Unless you don’t care about boiling water dripping all over your floor or counter, stay away not only from this one, but others as well. My guess is that they are all made in the same factory, and just branded differently afterwards.
