I loved the 14-cup capacity I bought this coffee maker two years ago. After a couple of unsuccessful CoffeeMate and Black&Decker affairs, I decided to go a bit more expensive. I trusted the Kitchen Aid name. I loved the 14-cup capacity, the removable water tank, the choices of brewing strength and the self-clean cycle — and the coffee tasted great to boot. I would program it at night and wake up in the morning to the aroma of freshly-brewed strong coffee, just the way I like it.

Great Coffee, but… I researched the daylights out of coffeemakers before settling on this one. Overall, I’m very happy with it. I have it set for making BOLD coffee, and delicious,BOLD coffee is what I get. I have found that I use approximately 15% less grounds with this machine than I used with my last one, which was a bottom of the line Mr. Coffee. I’ve noted other reviewers comments regarding the difficulties with programming, but I haven’t run into any problems or inconveniences with it at all. That may…
