Pretty fair coffee maker I assume most people buy this model because like me you are looking for a swing basket – regular filters and easy top fill. That’s pretty much what keeps me buying Mr Coffee because hardly anyone has those features all features together. As always, brew early enough that the pot has time to sit on the burner to make it hot, because right after brewing it is barely more than warm. Poor build quality Bought this coffee maker a year ago. Make coffee with it every morning. It has been reliable and is easy to clean and use, but I would not recommend it due to 2 build quality problems that indicate poor QA and cheap construction.1. Coffee has hot plastic scent & taste Do not get this coffee maker !!!! Followed the instruction manual to the letter, washing the parts it said to wash and thoroughly rinse first, then fill with water and ran a brew cycle with no coffee in it yet, per the instructions.
