It’s specifically designed to withstand the exacting conditions of busy cafe and restaurant use. A solid, stainless steel frame protects the glass from knocks and bumps. The Bodum Eileen French Press Coffee Maker comes in three different sizes (0.35-Litre, 1/2-Litre and 1.0-Litre) and has all the wonderful advantages of a French Press system built into its modern style. It’s made from borosilicate glass, stainless steel, chrome-plated steel and plastic and all parts are dishwasher safe, 8-Cup, 1.0-Litre.

Not Recommended The casing for the glass beaker doesn’t hold it securely. As a result, when you pull the plunger up, the beaker pulls up and out. To prevent this, you have to hold the broiling hot beaker in place with your finger. Also, when you turn it upside down to dump the grounds in the garbage, the beaker slides out, of course, increasing the change it will shatter. I had a Bodum french press for years but they discontinued it. Because of the previous good experience, I paid the nearly $30 for this one,…

Produces yummy coffee and looks good in kitchen! It wasn’t as large as I thought it was going to be, but it’s great for a delicious cup of french pressed coffee. The design is great and is good for someone who only wants 1-2 cups of coffee. Upholds Bodum’s French Press Reputation – More Durable, Beautiful, Design This press uses the same, reputable all-stainless plunger and mesh filter mechanism as Bodum’s Chambord line.The mesh filter included with my order showed no signs of damage and produces a tight seal within the glass beaker.
