Makes a great full-bodied cup of coffee I had a previous version of this coffeemaker several years ago. It worked great for several years, and made the best coffee I’d ever had from a home coffeemaker. Then I got seduced by the whole single-serve thing and ended up replacing it with a Keurig.Tired of the expense of the Keurig, the lack of really good dark coffee choices, and the general mediocre taste, I decided to come back to the world of regular coffeemakers, and in particular, this model that I loved so much…

Didn’t last very long! This is not the first Mr. Coffee that I’ve purchased, but it certainly died the quickest. I bought it in December 2014 and as of this morning (August 2015) it has no power at all, and we verified that it’s not because of the outlet that it’s plugged into – it just went dark. It had been working fine clear up until it didn’t work at all! Seems like expecting it to last at least a year is not asking too much!

Desgin Flaw I have gone through many coffee makers this at this price point. I wanted to get a Bunn but they were way too expensive for my budget and they didn’t come in the color that my wife and I wanted. Color wasn’t the only factor in purchasing this machine but we already have main kitchen staples like espresso machine, kitchen aid mixer, and others that are already the cranberry red and the Bunn’s didn’t come in that color. If the Bunn came in the color we wanted at an affordable price we would have…
