HORRIBLE Warranty… NO service… LOUSY Customer service. When it worked it made great coffee. Loved it when it worked, but it didn’t last long at all. When we tried to get it fixed under warranty it was nothing but the BIG run around. The heating parts stopped working so it wouldn’t pump water up into the coffee grounds. Sears on the web sent us to the store who sent us back to the website, which sent us back to the store (we didn’t go back) which sent us back to the website which just kept us on hold or sent us to “another” phone number. One flaw. Okay…. so let me tell you about this coffee maker. #1 its is pretty cool, however, the reason why its missing a star is this….. My first brew (I have Trader Joes coffee, which is kinda oily beans)…. it grinded the coffee…. brewed…….. and looked like ice tea. I open up the filter, and there was hardly any coffee grounds in it. Use it for 10-11 months then throw it away, seriously. Several issues.Purchased Oct 2016, worked ok and the initial problems were livable, up until sept of 2017 I had to remove the bottom plate to remove about 1/2cup if grounds, they come out of the grinder below the hopper on a âFine Groundsâ setting.The coffee leaks out of the bean hopper and stains my countertops.
