deeply disappointed I’m finding this product to be downright dangerous. The steam does not shut off in the “Off” position, so you have to wait for it to cool before removing the coffee or it explodes in your face (as it just did in mine). Alternatively, let all the steam out through the frother attachment. Also, there is a tremendous amount of steam and hot water while the machine is heating up. I’ve never encountered this in other espresso makers. Truly a disappointment.
For this price – it is worth it. You pay for what you get; it is manual and hence you need to watch the flow and manually turn it off once the cup is full. That aside, it was super easy to use and to clean. It comes with three different cup filters: one cup, two cups and one for pods. Just make sure you donât turn the filter holder too tight as the water canât flow through the filter! There was a good foam and I can use my own choice of coffee beans.
