Amazing Flavor – 1st UPDATE & Flashing “dcl” Just to start, I’m extremely cynical and I don’t subscribe to the idea that just because it’s expensive makes it the best. CARAFE LEAKS!!!!! OOPS NO IT DOESN’T You’d expect a bit more for $300 – carafe leaks everywhere when you pour the coffee. Who the heck tested this product at Viking??? Do not buy – looks pretty But doesn’t pour correctly!!!!
Okay coffee maker, does what it’s supposed to…..make coffee – for about a year before it breaks. UPDATE 11/15/2014: This product worked for a year, that is all. I can’t comment on the quality of the product with a sample size of one…after all, we could have been unlucky and received a lemon. But for us, it wasn’t worth the money. We ended up buying a mochamaster. There are no bells or whistles. There is no timer, no warming plate (it has a thermal carafe as well). But it makes great coffee and it looks great on the counter. And its been working for us dependably for a few years…
