Love it! I really love this product. Even more so than my French press. I am a self professed coffee addict and I use this often to make a delicious cup of coffee. The only thing I don’t like is the sludge you get in the bottom after brewing. However this happens with the French presses I’ve used too, so I just let the coffee sit for a bit in the carafe before pouring in to my cup. It let’s it settle out. Better coffee than the electric coffee machines! Excellent coffee maker in place of an electric coffee maker. Makes good coffee. Buy cone filters (#4) to put in the Bodum’s own Permanent Filter to get a better brew and won’t get the grinds at the bottom of the coffee maker.
Makes excellent coffee at home, easier than french press I’m not the BIGGEST coffee nerd, but I drink a lot of it (always black as midnight on a moonless night). Sadly, I have gone quite some time without having a decent way to make coffee at home. I’ve fallen into a scheme where I just wait to get to work because we have really good locally roasted coffee there. Of course, it’s on a boring (though quite industrial) drip.
