One setting is for short espresso shots and the other for Lungo shots. Both are fully programmable so you can select the desired volume of your beverage. Depending on the size of your cups or the size of the beverage you prefer. It also has an automatic stand by mode, low water level automatic cut-off, automatic used capsule collection, drip tray, etc. The water reservoir has 51 fluid/oz. of capacity. Enough for more than 35 espresso shots.

Great alternative to Nespresso machines The machine looks really well and works fine to produce Italian espresso coffee. I used it with SpressoLuxe capsules but also with Nespresso capsules and it works very well.
SpressoLuxe This an excellent pod style espresso machine. It does make noise as you would expect, but nothing excessive, or annoying. For the price you get a very consistent, delicious espresso, on par with much more expensive machines.
