A polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) is connected on Omi CM6816 as a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.

Functions better than most but very cheap materials and longevity a serious question. Works very well beyond expectations and DeLonghi 15 bar pump models…Having said that materials are cheap, very lightweight, so it’s a risk for longevity.
I really like this little gem Bought this espresso maker to replace a Krups that I had for about 15 years. I really like this little gem. Very easy to use and makes great lattes. Hope it lasts as long as my old one did.
well made works great only thing is you can only have one cup at a time but other than that it makes really good cups
