Good for a Bit of Indulgence This coffee brewer has a lot of appealing features. Honestly, the smell of freshly ground coffee beans, the sight of the water jetting against the clear window on top of the grinding chamber, and whooshing sounds of the grinder and water jets add to the fun. However, there are some factors that one needs to consider in buying this product.

A convenient, almost Keurig-like single-cup brewing system for your favorite beans. After getting tired of Tassimo continually discontinuing our favorite flavors, I’ve been wondering what to replace with. I could’ve gotten a Keurig but was also looking for a more eco-friendly system. When Amazon Vine gave me a chance to review this, it seemed like a potentially suitable appliance to fit my need, so I snagged it. I’m so glad I did.

One button to fresh-ground coffee — but takes a lot of space for a single-serve This Hamilton Beach 49989 coffeemaker is a neat product if you value freshness and single-serving convenience above all else (particularly above bulk/counter space and price). It’s quite a bit larger and more expensive than without the built-in grinder, and takes up almost as much counter space as a typical whole-pot drip coffeemaker.
