Bought for a GE Model GSS25GMHJCES fridge. So far, pleased with the product… Given most of us don’t actually test our water after we install a new filter (to see if it’s really cleaning the water), I can only attest to there being no changes in the taste between this and the old (original) GE filter. It was very easy to install in our particular fridge. I literally turned and pulled the old one and turned and pushed the new one. works fine,tastes fine same rating AS GE Works great same as the expensive GE rated and 1/3 the cost. or less. installation was a snap just run water thru to clear all sedimentation before first use. I bought one to try then ordered 3 more as this was an extra good deal. water tastes great and flows nicely.
Same Specs as GE – Meets NSF 53 and 42 – works the same for a fraction of the cost. These worked great in my GE fridge and are a great deal compared to the name brand filters. I cant tell a difference in water taste or flow rate. Some of the non-GE filters I’ve tried before slowed down the water flow – this didn’t.
