Not as good as the old B&D Spacemaker Can Opener We had one of the older white B&D Spacemaker can openers for about 15 or 20 years. It worked great and could be mounted on flat bottom cabinets or recessed bottom cabinets. We recently built a new house which has all stainless appliances. Junk, Junk, Junk This thing can’t even perform its basic function of opening cans. Worked for about 2 months, but the plastic part that holds the cutter in place is – well, made of plastic; really cheap plastic – so one of the little tabs bent out of place, and voila! No more can opener. If you want to impress friends and neighbors with your useless-but-pretty under-counter can opener, then by all means buy this worthless junk. Just be sure to buy a manual can opener as a backup.

Loved it Loved it but moved and now can’t find another one. Couldn’t take it with me because you connect it to your cabinets in the kitchen. Really miss it. So much. My kitchen it dark so need it black and all I can find is white white white. Where are the black ones?
